In this section of the toolbox, we provide examples of the best practices from Erasmus+ projects take place in between 2014 – 2021. The main selection criteria for the identification of the best practices have been :
- Inclusion of young people with fewer opportunities
- Increasing the access of young people to social rights
- Increasing the access of young people to decision-making mechanisms
- Engages NEET youth to the activities
- Promotes the youth engagement to social, cultural and political life
- Increasing the economic participation of young people
- Tackling with the challenges of social welfare system in the countries involved
- Geographical Balance ( Focuses on South Mediterranean Countries )

- Focusing the young people as direct beneficiaries
- Target group of the project is aged between 13-30 years old
The main areas that are identified in the project were social rights, participation and the social welfare systems. However, the projects focusing on the cross-cutting issues such as inclusion of marginalised youth groups, gender equality, etc. has been considered within the selection process.
