Capacity building emerges as a central pillar in our concept to address the challenges derived from the structural issues of the welfare system. At its core, this strategic imperative seeks to empower the youth by providing them with the essential skills, knowledge, and capabilities needed to navigate the complexities of education, employment, and societal participation. The capacity building focused on the personal and professional development of the young people. In example, the state does not provide any vocational education opportunities for young people to gain skills that are required in the labour market, we as youth organizations can fill this gap to provide possibilities for young people while developing their capacities.

In this aspect, the capacity building of young people divides into two segments : facilitating the access to labour market, providing knowledge to tackle with the challenges.

Facilitating access to labour market:

The skill development in the supply side has better impact on the creation of employment for the young people rather than providing subsidies at the demand side or facilitating access to the

A critical facet of capacity building centres on skills development tailored to the demands of the labour market. In this segment, we examine the challenges young people encounter in the employment landscape and underscore the importance of aligning educational initiatives with market needs. Our strategy paper goes beyond theoretical discussions, providing concrete measures to bridge the gap between educational pursuits and meaningful employment, ensuring that young individuals are equipped with the skills needed for success.

Educational Strategies for Empowerment:

Acknowledging the competitive nature of education, our focus extends beyond traditional academic pathways. We explore innovative educational strategies that not only foster intellectual growth but also instill practical skills relevant to the contemporary job market. From vocational training to experiential learning, our proposals aim to diversify educational opportunities and empower young people to make informed choices about their academic journeys.

Promoting Lifelong Learning:

Our commitment to capacity building transcends traditional educational milestones. We emphasize the significance of promoting lifelong learning as an ongoing process. Our strategies encourage a culture of continuous education and skill enhancement, enabling young individuals to adapt to evolving societal needs and technological advancements. By instilling a passion for learning, we aspire to equip them with the resilience needed to navigate dynamic career trajectories.

Access to Information and Bureaucratic Navigation:

A significant barrier to capacity building lies in the lack of information and the bureaucratic hurdles young people face. Our exploration aims to enhance access to information, demystify bureaucratic processes, and empower individuals to navigate systems effectively. By dismantling these barriers, we aspire to create an environment where every young person can actively engage in capacity-building endeavours.

Empowering Youth as Agents of Change:

Our capacity-building initiatives extend beyond individual empowerment; they encompass the nurturing of a generation of young individuals poised to become proactive agents of societal change. We propose strategies to cultivate leadership skills, instill a sense of social responsibility, and empower young people to contribute meaningfully to their communities. By fostering a mindset of collective impact, we envision a future where empowered youth play pivotal roles in shaping positive transformations.

Through a holistic approach that emphasizes skills development, innovative education, and lifelong learning, we aspire to cultivate a generation of resilient, informed, and empowered young people ready to navigate and positively shape the challenges of the future.
